Day 1 Arrive in Cusco after a few hours' rest in Lima. Shuttle directly to Pisaq village, where we rest and acclimatise.
Day 2 Pisaq town and markets, local ceremony (this is NOT an ayahuasca event).

Day 4 Moras + Moray
Day 5 Cusco Saqsaywaman Temple
Day 6 Ollyantaytambo Temple + train to Aguas Calientes
Day 7 Machu Picchu Temple (spring/vernal equinox)

Payments, inclusions and FAQ's.
Please note that the tour is NOT REFUNDABLE. Please book travel insurance including cancellation for at least the value of your flights and the retreat and unlimited medical cover. Bookings can't be confirmed until we have sighted a copy of your travel insurance.
Costs
Initial booking $1000 AUD paid direct to us.
Plus $3033 USD paid direct to our agent and guide, SUNGATE TOURS.
Flights - These will be somewhere between $1500 and $2200 ex Brisbane, flying to Cusco via Lima. Talk to us - we will be able to have a group discount for early booking.
Inclusions
Accommodation in guest houses + hotels.
All but 2 breakfasts are included; allow approx $20 USD per day total for other meals.
Internal transport - boats, trains, private shuttles and buses!
Guides + entrance tickets to all the sacred sites.
Other Bits
Visa on arrival into both Peru and Bolivia is free for those travelling on Australian, New Zealand, UK passports (and many others - check here)
We are not travelling into any high risk areas for Yellow Fever. The US Centre for Disease Control + Australian Smart Traveller website recommendations are 'vaccine not recommended'. The country as a whole does have areas where yellow fever is endemic, so please speak with your GP if you are worried. The vaccine takes ten days to be effective, and can have side effects, so don't wait til the last minute if you are getting it.
The currency is the Peruvian Sol. Some places take USD.
The food is fresh, plentiful, cheap and delicious - local and international choices and vegetarians have good options.
